Candidates
must have their NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People
Workforce. You must also have at least 2 years of experience within
residential Childcare and working alongside young people.

What will I do as a Senior Residential Support Worker?
- Using
life skills, you will have the opportunity to make a huge difference
in a child’s life. You will meet a variety of children and young
people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and
support.
- Within
this leadership role, you will not only ensure the welfare and care
of each child but also give guidance and support to all
residential workers.
- You
will be committed to making a difference, this includes being
responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts, ensuring placement
plans are followed, policies, procedures, risk assessments, rotas and
making sure that education is supported.
- You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
