Our school community is looking for an experienced SEN professional to take on an exciting new role within Compass as Admissions and Transitions Lead. As the first role of its type at Compass Community schools there will be the opportunity to influence, grow and develop the role in line with the needs of the schools.
This role would suit a professional who has a strong background in education working with children as a teacher or SENDCo. This role will require an outgoing and friendly person who is an excellent communicator, with a good sense of humour and unwavering determination.
This is a full time and permanent role, working nationally with our schools to focus on identifying and building deep rooted, positive relationships with Local Authorities, SEN Parental Groups, ancillary bodies, and other potential placement purchasers. To lead the team in pupil referral acquisitions, admissions, and transition processes to drive our school occupancy to meet our programme of growth. Evaluating pupil referrals to identify and match the specific and unique needs of the children to the educational, therapeutic, and social opportunities Compass Community offers.
