Our team is growing, and we are now looking for a talented Business Intelligence / Power BI Developer to join our IT function and help shape the future of data-driven insights across the organisation.

The Role

As a Business Intelligence / Power BI Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining impactful dashboards and reports that turn complex data into meaningful insights. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and deliver solutions that drive performance, support strategic decisions, and contribute to our continuous improvement journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
  • Connect to multiple data sources and transform data for reporting models.
  • Optimise data models for performance and scalability in Power BI.
  • Develop and manage DAX queries, calculated columns, and measures.
  • Integrate Power BI reports with external applications via embedded analytics/APIs.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Provide end-user training and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of BI solutions.
  • Provide third-line support to the Service Desk as needed.
  • Collaborate in agile ceremonies such as Daily Standups and Sprint Reviews.
  • Produce accurate estimates for deliverables and change requests.


Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Intelligence or data analytics role.
  • Proven commercial experience with Power BI, including Power Query and DAX.
  • Strong data modelling and relational database skills, particularly with Microsoft Azure SQL Server.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).
  • Knowledge of application security layers in Power BI and version control practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Desirable experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Data Lakes, Warehouses, or Databricks.
