As Compass continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Registered Manager to supporting the development and performance of other services across Yorkshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for an established Registered Manager ready to take the next step in their career. As the Registered Manager of a children's home, you'll be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of care, safeguarding and compliance, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.
Alongside your home-based responsibilities, you'll work closely with the Regional Operations Manager and Assistant Director to provide leadership, guidance and support to other Registered Managers across North Yorkshire. You will help drive consistency, share best practice, support service improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of Compass Community.
This role combines operational leadership with strategic influence, making it ideal for someone who is passionate about developing people, achieving outstanding outcomes and making a positive impact across multiple services.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Children and Young People's Services.
- Is passionate about driving excellence across children's residential care services.
- Holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Has at least 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager within a children's home.
- Has a proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
- Has experience mentoring, coaching or supporting other managers.
- Can build strong relationships and lead teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
