What you’ll do:

  • Advise on ER matters including safeguarding investigation, disciplinary, grievance, and performance.
  • Support managers with sensitive casework, providing healthy challenge and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Promote informal resolution of issues and reduce the need for formal processes.
  • Provide management information and work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure cases move at pace—without compromising on quality, consistency, or compliance.
  • Support managers with sensitive casework, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of trust, inclusion, and psychological safety.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and sector-specific regulations.
  • Help shape policies that reflect the needs of the service and community.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in an employee relations or HR advisory role, ideally within social care, education, or a regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and emotionally complex situations with discretion and care.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.

What We Offer:

  • Career Development: Multiple career paths, recognising hard work and supporting you into senior roles.
  • Wellbeing: Access to counselling service via Medicash.
