As our Employee Relations Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of supporting managers and teams across our social care settings—ensuring fair, consistent approaches to employee relations. You’ll help foster a culture where every colleague is recognised as a life changer, delivering safe, nurturing, and high-quality care and education.
What you’ll do:
- Advise on ER matters including safeguarding investigation, disciplinary, grievance, and performance.
- Support managers with sensitive casework, providing healthy challenge and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Promote informal resolution of issues and reduce the need for formal processes.
- Provide management information and work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure cases move at pace—without compromising on quality, consistency, or compliance.

- Ensure compliance with employment law and sector-specific regulations.

What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in an employee relations or HR advisory role, ideally within social care, education, or a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and emotionally complex situations with discretion and care.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
